to the right of each of the two sections that stick out.  
Passive solar gain through all those windows.

Continuing on around the house....  The window on the left is in 
one of the two bedrooms.  Windows on right are in the livingroom, 
which has a wood stove and would be used as my office.

I will make the steps going up to that deck look nicer.

Small decks on either side.  Outside of that room there are
tulips, lavender, and the delicious herb lovage planted.

Entrance into saltillo tile floor room.   Good for cat boarding, as clients 
could enter it without going through the rest of the house.   Not sure
if many people would drive out this far to board their cats, but some
people would, and my cats can enjoy the room when boarders are
not using it.  This deck, like the others, is aging, but that is a repair
I can easily do myself as time and money allow.

I'm fine with that, as I can choose the paint color myself.   This is the room 
I'd sleep in, as the nicer bathroom is right off of it.  I'd have a view of 
Ute Mountain from bed, out through the sliding glass doors in this room...

The door to the left takes you to the cat room if you turn right again,
or out to the kitchen and dining area if you go straight.  Below is

The House In Peñasco I'm Trying To Buy...

Here are some photos of the house I'm trying to buy... mostly of the yard, which I really fell in love with.  I think my cats would really enjoy it too.  There are some fruit trees on the property, but I'm not sure how many or what kind.  It is a humble little house, but in pretty good shape, and the layout would work for me.  Ater 8 years of renting I'm REALLY wanting to own my own house again.  It is in Peñasco, a rural area about 35 minutes from Taos, and an hour from Santa Fe.

I put in an offer to buy the house yesterday, and I'm waiting to hear back from the sellers.   Meahwhile, please imagine me happily living here:

This corner was originally a carport, but is now closed in and used as storage area, which is great, because I need a storage area:

UPDATE:

The sellers and I have reached an agreement.  The price is good, and it will include a new Pro Panel metal roof, which will look great on the house.  It will be this turquoise color:

We will close at the end of  August...  Very exciting!
